Meet Anne Grace Nimke


We are pleased to announce that Anne Grace Nimke will be joining our crew of mentors for Startup Weekend Milwaukee!

Here’s a little bit about Anne:

Anne has been a respected leader in the Recruiting / HR community helping both small business and Fortune 50 companies build strategic talent acquisition and management programs for almost 35 years. A creative and successful results oriented executive who lives her vision. She continues to be a dedicated professional and contributor to:

  • The vision that Recruitment, Staffing and HR strategies offer to businesses & individuals

  • The spirit of entrepreneurship, and most importantly

  • Her personal calling as a “talent” thought leader.

Anne’s newest venture, The Good Jobs™, chosen 2012’s Innovative Technology winner at the iTalent Competition will be launched in 2012. The Good Jobs™ is a new online employment solution providing companies with a robust platform to present their unique culture, employment brand & corporate philosophy. Equally as important, The Good Jobs™ offers job seekers ground-breaking ways to present their “individual brand” through video resumes, work style preferences, and ultimately 3rd party verified employment and education, reference checks and criminal background checks. Using easy search and sort functions, The Good Jobs™ offers individuals and companies opportunities to connect through transparent & relevant criteria beyond location & skill.


Anne co-founded Pinstripe in 2004 and while still an investor, left active involvement in the company in 2010. Pinstripe is one of the country’s leading Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firms focused entirely on talent acquisition and management issues critical to corporate executives. At Pinstripe she held positions of President, COO and CMO and Executive Consultant.


After graduating magna cum laude from Marquette University in 1978, Anne joined the Human Resource group at Miller Brewing Company’s Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee and held positions in the Employee Relations, Benefits and Employment Departments. Identifying recruiting and employment as her professional focus and management her vocation, she continued her career at Olsten (now Adecco) as Branch Manager, Regional Manager and ultimately VP Operations in Wisconsin. In 1992, Anne joined ProStaff, the largest independent staffing company in WI and co-founded HRfirst, an enterprise-wide RPO firm. ProStaff and HRfirst that was sold a Fortune 500 Global Staffing Provider in 2000. Anne created a national platform for the RPO firm, grew it 1000% in 4 years & had a community of employees and customers that was unrivaled. (HRfirst is now named KellyOCG)


She is a recognized speaker on the topic of “talent” and has authored and presented many webinars.  She has addressed a variety events and conferences some including The HRO Forum, RPO Summit, IQPC, SHRM, Kennedy Info, and the Conference Board. She has held the following positions: Vice Chair of the RPO Alliance (HROA), member SHRM’s National Workforce Staffing Special Expertise Panel and President of MMSHRM (Milwaukee’s SHRM Chapter of almost 1,000 HR Professionals).  Anne is active on the Advisory Board of SkillSurvey, an automated reference-checking provider; the Board of Helping Hands Healing Hooves, an equine therapy association in Cedarburg WI; Skylight Theater’s (Milwaukee’s premier musical theater) Strategic HR Committee; and Board Member at Florence Eiseman, Inc (America’s children’s designer “where style starts small”).
